How to spot a rubbish Nail Academy
Following on from one of our earlier posts, lets talk a little more about what you should look for in a Nail Academy. The Nail Industry in South Africa has literally exploded and at the moment, there is no governing body overseeing the standards of Nail Training and Nail Technology products. Along with the growth in the Industry has come a a flood of Nail Academy’s with very low standards of training accompanied by very poor and even dangerous products.
So, for your own protection, how can you tell the difference between a professional Nail Academy and an Academy that will take your money but not give you a decent education? Firstly, never buy a Nail Course on price alone. There is a reason why courses are priced so cheap – you always get what you pay for! Secondly, go visit the Academy and look at the training tools that they use. Find out what type of training hand you will practice on. Remember that a workman is only as good as his or her tools.
